ReplyDeleteNetgear wifi range extender issue? I got around installing it. I got it now setup but, here the thing. I connected the laptop and the through it. one, i couldn't tell. two a few minutes later it disconnected itself saying (Limited) so how far should it be from the router. the router is in the bedroom. it says here in the book, move extender closer to the router if left arrow blink. SO why when i connected through the range extender, it later said Limited and that when i notice i was not connected. So why did it showup.

ReplyDeleteI was trying to setup my Netgear Ex2700 Extender several times after factory resets. Each time the "genie" pops up and I go through the steps to connect to my WiFi and it assignes the _EXT name to it then it reboots. I can then connect to the new _EXT Wifi name but there is no Internet connection and I cannot access the mywifiext.net page.
